Lee Fitzpatrick is a cum laude graduate of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University and has been a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia since 1987. In his criminal defense practice, Mr. Fitzpatrick has represented hundreds of clients in a wide range of cases including misdemeanors (such as traffic offenses, DUI, domestic violence and marijuana possession) and felonies (such as Violations of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, Theft, Robbery, Assault and Murder). Mr. Fitzpatrick is very experienced in the area of appellate practice. Early in his career, Mr. Fitzpatrick served as law clerk for a Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court. Over the years he has handled over 60 appellate matters in front of the state supreme court and court of appeals.
Mr. Fitzpatrick’s Civil litigation practice has included the successful representation of clients in all manner of family law issues (divorce, wills and powers of attorney and defense of unfit parenting allegations brought by the Department of Family and Children’s Services), real estate litigation and the drafting of contracts and leases of all kinds as well as litigation involving the interpretation of contracts.
